We stock a comprehensive SsangYong parts inventory and can supply anything from light bulbs to complete engines and body panels.
Auckland SsangYong can also take care of Warrant of Fitness (W.O.F) inspections & repairs on-site including a full professional Vehicle Detailing (Grooming) Facility.

Ron Bartels: Auckland SsangYong Service Manager
Ron has had a over 20 years experience in the automotive industry and in his time has worked extensively as an A Grade Mechanic and more recently as a Senior Sales Consultant for some of Auckland's largest new and used vehicle dealers.
Ron has had a 35 year involvement in Motor Sport both here in New Zealand and overseas. During the 1980's he worked full time as a Works Mechanic buildingrace and Rally cars for the likes of Rothmans BDA Escorts, Ex Word Champions Hannu Mikkola and Ari Vatanen. He also worked on Formula 3 and Indy Cars before returning home to build Group A R30 Nissan Skylines and Holden Commodores working with the Stone Brothers and Paul Cruickshank.
These days Ron is still heavily involved and active within the New Zealand Motor Sport Fraternity having competed in several Targa Rallys and a regular Co-Driver in the Top Half Rally Sprint Series. He was a driving force behind the NZ Ford Fiesta Sporting Trophy which is a launch pad for talented undiscovered young drivers.
Murray Thomas: Auckland SsangYong Head Service Technician
Murray has had extensive experience in the motor service industry both here and abroad. He spent 8 years with the Ford Motor Company and was Service Manager at one of their Major Dealerships here in Auckland. He worked alongside Motor Sport Royalty with Ex-Pat Rod Millen in the USA where he was a Workshop and Team Manager for 7 Years.
For 12 Years he ran his own Workshop where he specialised in Motorsport preparation and fabrication and built and maintained International Championship winning vehicles for a variety of classes and series. More recently he has been the service manager for a specialist Boutique Workshop where he serviced a range of exotic performance vehicles including Lamborghini and Ferrari.
He has trained with SsangYong Factory Mechanics and is in constant contact with other SsangYong technicians receiving the latest product and software updates to ensure we can best attend you needs and enquires.
Both Murray and Ron are passionate about anything with an engine and their experiences have led to a philosophy focused on Total Quality Customer Service and the Highest Level of Workmanship.
